Dr. Fred Knickerbocker graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He practices general orthopaedics.

Dr. Knickerbocker and his wife, Susan, reside in Bristol, Virginia, and they have two sons, Miles and Brian. They attend Emmanuel Episcopal Church, and Dr. Knickerbocker is very active with the Boy Scouts of America. He has been with our Midway office since 1977.
