Dr. Jacob G. Unger is a plastic surgeon specializing aesthetic surgery of the face, nose, eyes, breast and body as well as reconstructive surgery following trauma and cancer. Dr. Unger attended Tulane University for his undergraduate work where he rowed on the Tulane Crew Team and majored in Philosophy and Pre-Medical Studies. After successfully defending an honors thesis on Aristotle and Socrates, he graduated as the top ranked “Senior Scholar” in the philosophy department, summa cum laude, an inductee into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and was appointed as one of nine valedictorian candidates at Tulane.

Dr. Unger then attended New York University School of Medicine with an academic scholarship. He began his passion for Plastic Surgery and research in earnest there. He received multiple research awards and grants, and published and presented around the country on breast surgery and cutting-edge 3D imaging.
