Keith P. Berkle, M.D. joined Virginia Women’s Center in 2008 and is interested and experienced in all aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and high-risk pregnancies, gynecologic surgery, ambulatory gynecology, sexual dysfunction and vulvar disorders. He also has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic hysterectomies, myomectomies and single incision laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries.Dr. Berkle received a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. In addition, Dr. Berkle completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia, where he was honored with the Berlex Teaching Award, the Everett Wetchler, M.D. Award and the Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Berkle served as the chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
