Edward P. Rentschler, DDS was born and raised in Elgin, Illinois. He attended The University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with Honors and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society in 1983. Dr. Rentschler completed his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Louisville and Affiliated Hospitals in 1986.

Dr. Rentschler has been in practice in Rockford, Illinois since 1986, starting in Camelot Tower, and relocating to his current state of the art facility on Roxbury Road in 1996. He has a special interest in dental implants and implant-related procedures as well as oral pathology. He maintains certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
