Dr. Langenderfer graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1986 and served as an officer in the U.S. Army reaching the rank of Captain. After leaving the service, he attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine. A Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, he completed his Orthopaedic training at the University of Cincinnati and joined Reconstructive Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in 2000.Dr. Langenderfer has subspecialty interest in sports medicine and joint replacements. He has extensive experience, having performed more than 12,000 surgeries in the reconstruction of shoulders, hips and knees affected by sports injuries or degenerative diseases.
