Dr. Hermanson joined Orthopedic Institute in 2007.  He is fellowship trained in advanced arthroscopic surgery and reconstruction of the shoulder, hip and knee.   In addition to his arthroscopic practice he performs unicompartmental and total knee, total shoulder, and reverse total shoulder replacements.   He is currently the team physician for Southwest Minnesota State University and O’Gorman High School.

Born and raised in South Dakota, Dr. Hermanson graduated from O’Gorman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
