Raised in Oradell, New Jersey, Dr. Sullivan graduated from Villanova University receiving a B.A. in Pre-Med. In 1983 Dr. Sullivan received his D.M.D. degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. After a one year internship at the University of Pennsylvania, he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, a “Level One” Shock-Trauma Center. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Sullivan entered private practice in Burlington, Vermont where he also served as Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Vermont. “Two cold years later” in 1989, Dr. Sullivan joined Dr. Walzer in Annapolis.
