I was born and raised in a family surrounded by competitive team sports. This helped shape my focus in life and develop my skills as a physician.
I had a stellar soccer and basketball career at North Kingstown High School and went on to play collegiate soccer at Dartmouth College. While at Dartmouth I found my passion for medicine and orthopedics. After college, I played professional soccer in Seattle, WA. While playing I realized my real focus was on medical school. I moved back east and attended Brown/Dartmouth Program in Medicine graduating from Brown with both my medical degree and a Master’s in Biomaterials. I went on to complete my Orthopedic Surgery Residency, Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship, and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital and the Brown Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
