I’ve always been fascinated by the science behind the human body and how it works. To me the human body is an incredible machine; not only is it beautiful to look at, it’s fascinating the way we are designed and how our joints and muscles function. Add to that fact that I have always wanted to help people and you can see that sports medicine was a natural fit.

I went to the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. During medical school I did a combined MD/PhD program in biomedical sciences. I then went on to do a residency in family medicine at Western Michigan University. After my residency I completed a sports medicine fellowship at Western Michigan University and loved every minute of it.
