Dr. Freestone was born and raised in Mesa, AZ and graduated from Mesa High School. Dr. Freestone completed his undergraduate B.S. degree at Brigham Young University in Biology/Zoology. He is a graduate of Des Moines University’s College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Freestone completed a three-year surgical residency with the Henry Ford Health System at Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI.

He returned home to the Valley after finishing his residency to join Advanced Foot & Ankle Specialists of Arizona in 2010. Dr. Freestone is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He enjoys mountain biking, traveling, and spending time with his family. Dr. Freestone, wife Rebecca, and their four children reside in Gilbert.

I highly recommend him.

Dr. Freestone is fantastic! I have a very anxious/nervous nine-year-old that had suffered from chronic ingrown toenails and Dr. Freestone's is very kind and patient. I highly recommend him. Our appointments have always been on time and the staff is always been very friendly.
