After talking to many doctors for many years about my very arthritic knee, I finally found someone who could diagnose the problem and more importantly lay out my options and what the disadvantages and advantages of each option was. I really loved that Dr. Shapiro was not trying to sell me any particular option and gave me the lowdown about the risks of each. He has kept up with what is available and what is on the horizon. I couldn't be happier with his service and it was well worth the drive
