GIBH is to serve the citizens of China and the world by integrating the biological and chemical sciences for the improvement of human health. The Division of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine focuses on new mechanisms for controlling the transformation of adult cells into pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) as well as optimization of protocols for directed differentiation of normal and diseased human iPSCs into different cell lineages.
