After earning his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas in 1976, Dr. Glenn McClendon returned to medical school in 1990. He received his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida and completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Coral Gables Hospital in South Florida.

Following his residency, Dr. McClendon returned to Arkansas in 1995 and spent 10 years in private practice in Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Conway before joining Conway Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic in 2005.
