Dr. Todd Carter is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated veterinary school from Auburn University in 2007 and subsequently completed a small animal rotating internship at Louisiana State University. He completed his small animal internal medicine residency at Michigan State University in 2012 and spent two years at a large referral practice in Pittsburgh, PA before joining the staff at NYVSC.

Dr. Carter enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, but specific clinical interests include endocrine,gastrointestinal, and respiratory disease, with a particular interest in canine and feline diabetes mellitus.
