Dr. Melvin B. Hurt joined Adler Footcare in 2015 bringing his 25 years of experience as a podiatric surgeon to the practice. Dr. Hurt has spent his entire professional career in Greater New York, graduating from the New York Institute of Technology in biology and pre-med, then from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Hurt has been board certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery (ABLES) in foot surgery since 2002, a rigorous certification that is renewed every five years.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Hurt was a medical/surgical director for nearly ten years in Jamaica, New York and has also served in hospital settings and been in private practice.
