Dr. Maghen is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.  He is a graduate of UCLA (with honors) and of New York Medical College. He completed his general orthopedics training at Westchester Medical Center, New York – A level 1 trauma center serving the entire Hudson Valley. Dr. Maghen then completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery in Mount Sinai Hospital and in NYU Tisch Hospital in New York City, where he was trained by world leaders in the field.Dr. Maghen is strongly committed to evidence based medicine, patient education, and shared decision-making.
