Dr. Wilson is from North Carolina and he graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. He founded East Lincoln Animal Hospital in 1978. He has been in private practice for over 30 years. Dr. Wilson enjoys all aspects of general practice (medical, surgical, and management).

Dr. Wilson also enjoys church and family activities. He is a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincolnton, NC. He and his wife, Libby, have two children. Their son, Ben, is a Medical Doctor working in a family practice and graduated from UNC. Their daughter, Rebecca, graduated with a Communications major from Wake Forest University.
