Sumit Bapna, MD, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, attended Solon High School and earned his Medical Degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), enrolled in a 6-year combined BS/MD program, where he continued to excel, serving as president of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical school honor society. He then completed a general surgical internship at Mount Carmel Medical Center and residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
