A native of West Monroe, LA, Dr. Sarah Baker attended college in Shreveport at Centenary College. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology and graduated summa cum laude. She went to medical school at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. She then moved to Chicago, where she did an Internship in General Surgery at Rush University. Afterward, she completed her Dermatology Residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Baker returned to Shreveport to start her practice.

She is a board certified dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology with expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Baker is the most caring doctor I've ever met her attention to detail is phenomenal and her bedside manner is even better couldn't ask for a better dermatologist, and her nursing staff was just as sweet

Dr. Baker is a excellent dermatologist!

I had been taking my daughter to another dermatologist in the area for years and she just wasn't improving; but when I took her to Dr. Baker...BOOM! She examined my daughter and came to find out that the other doctor had misdiagnosed her! Dr. Baker changed her medications and now she's doing much better. She really knows her stuff! She has a wonderful bedside manner. She doesn't rush you in and out. And She answers all of your questions. Look no further!
