John Burke MD is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College majoring in Biology and honors graduate of Boston University School of Medicine. Dr Burke trained for 3 years in Internal Medicine at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia and is board certified in Internal Medicine. He has practiced for the past 25 years in central Maine and is the founding partner of MidMaine Internal Medicine.

Dr Burke has treated patients from all over Maine and New England as well as many summer visitors who have previously had similar treatments in Boston, Manhattan and Florida. Dr Burke is one of the busiest practitioners in Maine in latest laser treatments as well in the use of Botox for upper facial lines and excessive sweating. He has been certified by the Allergan Corporation and the International Hyperhidrosis Society to administer Botox for these conditions.
