In 1998, Dr. Howe joined and took over the ownership of the San Diego Clinic of Preventive Medicine, from William J. Saccoman, M.D., who was an early pioneer in alternative medicine and had started the clinic in the early 1970’s. Dr. Howe has been 39 years in the medical field as both a chiropractor and medical doctor, specializing in biomechanical structural problems.

Dr. Howe is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Pain Management and Sclerotherapy where he received his training in prolotherapy, a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), and a member of the American Board of Chelation Therapy (ABCT).
