A Texas native, Dr. Michael Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and completed his fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at the Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Ryan is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is the only orthopedic surgeon in Bend who holds a Board Certified Subspecialty in Sports Medicine.
