Dr. Kalman is a Board Certified Orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic surgery. During his Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, he worked with the 1993-1994 Philadelphia Phillies under the direction of Dr. Phillip Marone. He also worked with the Philadelphia Eagles during his chief year under the direction of Dr. Vince Distefano.
He, along with Dr. Craig Morgan founded the Morgan Kalman Clinic. Dr. Kalman credits Dr. Morgan with “fine tuning and advancing” his arthroscopic skills during his Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson. He serves as team physician for local area high schools and is a sports medicine consultant to the University of Delaware. He was on the sideline for the 2003 IAA Football National Championship game.
