At the Regenerative Medicine Institute of Nevada, we offer options for patients dealing with diseases that may be aided by access to adult stem cell based regenerative treatment as well as amniotic cells. The Institute uses a small liposuction procedure to harvest fat cells as well as the material between the fat cells. It is the material between the fat cells that will be used, not the fat cell themselves. We isolate and return the patient’s own cells from the material that was harvested on the same day.

The source of the cells is properly referred to as stromal vascular fraction, or SVF. SVF is where the desired proteins lie, surrounded by adipose tissue, or fat. It is because of this that it is sometime referred to as adipose-derived cells.
