Dr. Toscano graduated with honors from Duke University, completed an Emergency Medicine Residency in 1980 and has practiced in the Clearwater area for over 30 years. He has served as the Chairman and Medical Director of the Morton Plant Hospital Emergency Department and, in 2001, he was elected President of the Morton Plant Hospital Medical Staff. He has also served on the Morton Plant Hospital Board of Trustees. He was appointed an Assistant Clinical Professor by the University of South Florida, School of Medicine and was selected “Clinical Preceptor of the Year” by the USF Family Practice Program.

Dr. Toscano was recently honored by the American Board of Emergency Medicine for over 30 years of continuous Board Certification. They recognized his “dedication to the specialty, devotion to continuous learning, and the provision of quality care to all patients.”

Dr. Toscano has obtained Advanced Level 4 Classifications for use of Botox, Dermal Fillers and Lasers in Aesthetic Medicine from the Ageless Aesthetic Institute. In 2010, he was the first physician to introduce Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Stem Cell Therapy for aesthetic services to Pinellas County and has been certified by the American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association to perform the PRP Stem Cell Facials and the “O-Shot” for Female Orgasm Disorder. He is certified by Cynosure in the use of SmartLipo and has performed over 1000 SmartLipo procedures.

Red Bamboo Medi Spa is certified by the State of Florida as a Level 1 Surgery Center. Dr. Toscano’s “SmartLipo by Red Bamboo” Program was named “Best SmartLipo in Tampa Bay” by duPont Registry. On two occasions, Red Bamboo Medi Spa was named by Tampa Bay Business Journal as “Best in the Biz” for spa services. In 2012, Dr. Andrew Ordon of THE DOCTORS, awarded Dr. Toscano and Red Bamboo Medi Spa the “National Best Aesthetic Practice” Award at THE Aesthetic Show in Las Vegas.
