Piper Spine Care

Piper Spine Care started private practice in orthopaedic surgery in 1980, and began to specialize exclusively in the care of patients with spinal disorders in 1996. In my years as a spine surgeon, I realized that this is an area of medicine which demands an isolated environment. The care of my patients is my vocation. I work hard to make my patients feel comfortable and understand their problems. Our family mission is to provide the highest quality spine care available.

For the past 15 years, Chris Hemmer N.P. has been with me treating patients. Chris is an accomplished mid-level provider and I am proud he is an integral part of our team. Together, we look forward to the opportunity to treat your spine care needs.

    I am under the care of Dr. Chris Hemmer for my severe osteoporosis. He has taken excellent service to me: explaining my condition, why I needed to build bone not just conserve what I have, and what my options are. I had been under another doctor's care for this condition that was going downhill--getting worse with every bone scan. Now I have confidence and knowledge in how we can work together to improve my bones. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

    Dr. Piper and Dr. Hemmer did back and neck surgery on both my wife and I. They are the best. Dr. Hemmer is very personable and friendly. One of the few doctors that I really like. They were both very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done and then explained it in a way that was easily understood by a nonmedical person . Both my wife and I are mobile and very healthy thanks to Dr. Piper and Dr. Hemmer. I would not go anyplace else nor go to any other doctor for back or neck surgery!! Great

    The entire staff at Piper Spine Care were very pleasant to work with and all were very professional while I was under their care. I would definitely go back if I needed to have additional issues with my back.

    I had trigger finger on several fingers and Dr. Rummel was amazing with the surgery and follow-up. Everyone in the office is wonderful to work with and very efficient. My Mother also had surgery for a pinched nerve in her neck with Dr. Piper and she was very pleased with the outcome as well as the entire experience. I would highly recommend any of the Doctors.

    What an amazing office! Off the bat, the staff is friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. They took my history quickly and once I saw Dr. Piper and Chris Hemmer, I knew I would never go anywhere else. I was extremely nervous before the visit and they set all my worries at ease. No other doctor I've ever seen has as good of bedside manners. Within no time I was back to my old self...back pain was totally gone. Thank you thank you thank you Drs. Piper & Hemmer!
