Dr. Chandoo Kalmat attended medical school at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where he was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine award for compassionate patient care. He completed his general surgery internship at the University of Louisville and later completed his Anesthesiology residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kalmat completed his fellowship training in interventional pain at the Henry Ford Health System in Michigan.
He holds medical licenses in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Dr. Kalmat’s current interests include radiofrequency ablation for back pain, neck pain and headaches. He has lectured on various topics in pain management including neck and low back pain.
