Alexandra J. Tate, M.D. has been practicing at Virginia Women’s Center since 1995. Dr. Tate has a well-rounded obstetrics and gynecology practice that includes high-risk pregnancies, laparoscopic surgery and disease prevention and treatment.

Dr. Tate received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her internship and residency in OB-GYN at the Medical College of Virginia; she is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
