Dr. Kula received her doctorate of medicine from the George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her internship, residency and fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Kula held academic positions at Brooke Army Medical Center, University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center and William Beaumont Army Medical Center.

Dr. Kula holds a membership with the American College of Physicians. She has served as the chairwoman for the Cancer Committee at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center for over 10 years, has given presentations, and is a published author. In her spare time, Dr. Kula enjoys running, singing, traveling, and spending time with her two daughters.
