Dr. Amy McGinness is originally from Chicago, but moved to Orange Park with her family when she was in junior high. She is a graduate of Middleburg High School, the University of Florida (B.S. Zoology ’03), and the UF College of Veterinary Medicine where she became a full DVM in 2007. Dr. McGinness’s history with Black Creek dates back quite a bit—she actually worked at the hospital as a kennel tech in her high school years and during college.

Her schooling completed, she returned to the Middleburg area, and is happy to continue her career in veterinary medicine at the very same practice where she first got her start working with animals. Dr. McGinness’s special interests include ophthalmology, dentistry, and internal medicine, and she loves working with so many wonderful people who truly love their jobs.
