Andrew Moore, M.D. joined Virginia Women’s Center in September of 2012. Dr. Moore received his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg and his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Moore has received several awards including the Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award all four years of his residency, the Best Resident Research award, and the 2012 Outstanding Resident Award for teaching and patient care.Dr. Moore enjoys caring for patients throughout the spectrum of women’s health including both low- and high- risk pregnancies. In addition, he is skilled in caring for women who experience diabetes or hypertension in pregnancy and has special interest in pelvic pain management as well as minimally invasive and vaginal surgery for gynecologic conditions.
