Carl is the founder and practice owner of New York Equine. After graduating from Ohio State University in 1978, he worked at Belmont and Aqueduct Racetracks and at private farms on Long Island with another equine veterinarian.  He started his own practice in 1987, and has earned the respect of many for his knowledge and experience in sports medicine and chiropractic care for horses.  He also serves as the Deputy Mayor  and Police Commissioner  for the Village of Muttontown, and serves on boards such as Mixed Breeds in Need (Humane Animal Shelter – Oyster Bay) and the Muttontown Horseman’s Association.
