A Havertown native, Dr. Charles J. Odgers initial interest in orthopaedics developed as a result of a knee injury sustained while playing football his junior year at Haverford High School. Dr. Odgers spent a lot of time with me to explain my condition. He is very knowledgeable and gave me the time I needed to understand what was going on. I will be back to see him again.
  • Thank you Doctor!
Dr. Odgers performed rotator cuff surgery for a torn bicep and two badly torn tendons. Post op there wasn't any pain and I required no pain meds at all. Rehab was 4 months not 6, just in time for bilateral knee replacement. Both knees were replaced and I was walking with a walker on day 2, with a cane by day 5-6, and walking my dogs without a cane day 12. Pain was minimal throughout and recovery ahead of schedule. My lack of pain and fast recovery was due to great surgery. Thank you
