Dr. Cherise Willey is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens, New York. She received her BS in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000 and her DVM from Cornell University in 2005. Following her nomadic spirit, Dr. Willey then traveled to Michigan State University and completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in 2006. She then spent a year in private general practice on the north shore of Long Island before moving to Knoxville, Tennessee for a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
