Christopher Dolan realized the importance of pursuing one’s dreams early on. Throughout his school years in Reno, Nevada, Dr. Dolan committed himself to his education and athletics at Wooster High School. This path would eventually lead him to the University of California Davis where he earned bachelor degrees in Physiology and History, and later an MD at the university’s School of Medicine. Today, as a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a completed fellowship in sports medicine, Dr. Dolan has perhaps found the perfect marriage of his passions.
Dr. Dolan was drawn to orthopedics because it was challenging, but rewarding, much like the sports he loved. Throughout his youth, sports were always part of the picture. He was a tri-sport athlete in high school, playing baseball, football and basketball for the Wooster Colts. His years on the field and the court helped develop an appreciation for both the physical demands put on an athlete’s body and the hard work needed for success. These values helped guide him to a sports medicine specialty.
