Daniel Cummins, D.M.D., M.D.  is the newest member of our surgical team. He attended  Virginia Tech University where he received a B.S. in Biochemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude and elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  He then went on to obtain his Dental Medicine Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 where he graduated with honors and was awarded several surgical and prosthodontics accolades.  Following his time in Philadelphia Dr. Cummins moved to New Orleans where he attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine earning his M.D.  and completed an internship year in General Surgery.  Dr. Cummins then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at LSUHSC in New Orleans where he underwent advanced training in facial trauma, reconstruction, head and neck pathology, TMJ surgery, sleep apnea, corrective jaw surgery and cosmetic facial surgery.
