Dr. Zanotti has practiced at The Center for Orthopedics since 2003. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopy. In fact, he is one of only two board certified orthopedic surgeons in the area who has earned subspecialty certification in orthopedic sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.Although Dr. Zanotti has treated professional athletes, he doesn’t limit his definition of “athlete” to professional or even high school or college players. “I consider anyone an athlete – from five to 85 years old – who enjoys participating in certain activities and wants to continue doing them. These are the patients I enjoy taking care of most,” he explains.Dr. Zanotti’s interest in sports medicine grew out of his own experience as an athlete. “I played basketball in college, so I’ve always been around athletes,” he said. “And I’ve seen many injuries just from playing a variety of sports, so sports medicine was a natural interest of mine.
