Dr. Dattilo was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Fordham University and obtained his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1978. Following this he completed his five year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh in 1984. Dr. Dattilo served as the chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh from 1986 until 2004. While maintaining this position he also served as a clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
