Demetrios Plomaritis was born and raised in Missoula Montana. He later moved to Rexburg Idaho where he attended high school and graduated from Madison Senior High. Demetrios attended Ricks College. Shortly after attending Ricks; Demetrios was called to go on a mission to South Africa.

Upon returning home from his mission Demetrios chose to go back to college this time attending BYU-I and earning his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. With his Bachelors degree under his belt Demetrios took his education on step further and went on obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota.
