Dr. Alvarado was raised in Valdosta, Georgia. He graduated from The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Alvarado received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Valdosta State College in 1992. He graduated from the prestigious University of Michigan in 1998 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He went on to complete his internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2003, he completed his four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.Dr. Alvarado is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
