Jason A. Higgins, M.D. grew up in Thibodaux, Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Higgins received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. Dr. Higgins also performed an externship in Australia as Chief Resident learning different techniques from surgeons abroad. In Los Angeles, he completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute (SCOI). He specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, knee, hip, ankle and elbow.
