Dr. Knorr has followed many paths outside of private practice.  Over the years, his activities have included: teaching and training Oral and Maxillofacial Residents at St. John Macomb Hospital, lecturing and clinical instruction at University of Detroit School of Dentistry,  serving on the State of Michigan Specialty Licensing Examination Board, serving on Macomb Dental Society Ethics and Peer Review, and co-authoring a chapter in a nationally acclaimed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery textbook.  He has been engaged in software program design and development with a Oral Surgery Practice Management software company,  alpha and beta testing as well as  lecturing and providing hands on training to other dental professionals for the Nobel Biocare Corporation on NobelActive, a new 3rd generation implant system and NobelClinician a comprehensive CAD-CAM implant treatment planning and surgical execution software system.
