Dr. John Mennitt grew up in Toledo, Ohio but has lived most of his life in Maryland. After graduating from the Honors Program of the University of Toledo with a B.S. in chemistry, he began graduate school in the Department of Biochemistry at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He continued towards his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Georgetown University School of Dentistry. There he consistently ranked in the top 5% of his class and discovered his interest in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He was awarded membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
