Judson L. Penton, MD is a fellowship-trained and board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He treats a wide variety of athletic injuries and holds a certificate of advanced qualification in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.Dr. Penton completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. There, he gained further expertise in the latest arthroscopic surgical techniques while training under two past presidents of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He received his orthopedic surgery residency training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
