Dr. Green was raised in a family of woodworkers and cattle ranchers living in Colorado and the panhandle of Oklahoma. He attended The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biomedical Science and Chemistry before attending Colorado State University where he earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Green is happy to bring a variety of experiences to San Juan Veterinary Clinic. Upon graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Green practiced in a rural mixed animal practice in the San Luis Valley where he cared for a variety of animals including beef and dairy cows, reindeer, turkeys and many wonderful small animals. Dr. Green was also a passionate farrier for many years and still cherishes all cases of equine podiatry.
