A graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida, Dr. Brackett began his career in emergency veterinary medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Following graduation he opened an exotic animal day practice and, in the evenings, he worked at an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital.After moving to Brevard County, Dr. Brackett worked for five years as an emergency veterinarian at Brevard Animal Emergency. In 1996, Dr. Brackett purchased the practice and renamed the facility, Animal Emergency & Critical Care Center of Brevard. This transition provided the perfect opportunity to create an ideal environment for both his patients, clients and staff.
