Lewis J. Obi M.D. Dr. Obi is a native of Jacksonville and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida after first serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. He then graduated with honors (AOA) from the University of Miami Medical School and then completed his internship in the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam War.

After many years of residency training in general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, hand surgery, etc, he opened his plastic surgery practice in Jacksonville. Since then he has continued to excel and set new standards for the specialty of plastic surgery. Today he continues to make major contributions in many areas of his specialty including lasers, stem cells, breast surgery, cosmetic surgery and safe surgery for his patients.
