Dr. Mikles is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery.Dr Mikles graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society.  Dr. Mikles attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Mikles obtained additional training in spine surgery doing a combined fellowship at the New York University and Hospital for Joint Diseases where he was trained in adult spinal deformity and scoliosis surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, and artificial disc replacement surgery.
