Dr. Schwert has led a very eclectic life so far. Although New Jersey is now the longest place of residence, it has been the sixth state he has lived in. Dr. Schwert graduated veterinary school at Oklahoma State University in 2000, and joined the BAC team in 2002. Dr. Schwert enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two young children. He has been active in many animal rescue organizations and currently has six dogs and five cats of his own.
