Dr. Matthew D. Collard joined Orthopedic Specialists in 2007. As the newest addition to an excellent team of specialists, he brings his expertise in the latest procedures in adult reconstruction, joint replacement, sports medicine and arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Collard’s practice focuses on non-surgical options for patients as well as surgical procedures when conservative measures fail and surgery is indicated.

His interest in upper and lower extremity injuries has lead to a more generalized orthopedic practice treating ailments of the shoulder, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. He enjoys the variety of this type of practice and feels this makes him a well rounded surgeon. Dr. Collard was born and raised in Webb City, Missouri. He attended University of Missouri-Columbia where he obtained a degree in Biochemistry. Attending Medical School at the University of Health Sciences, he obtained his medical degree with honors.
